Planning for network upgrades and new heating and generation

Mongolia Energy Governance (MEG) Activity will promote the transfer of knowledge and tools to strengthen data analysis in planning and assessing operational performance. Specifically, we will provide technical assistance to improve energy planning and data-informed policymaking processes, which will enhance energy sector governance and promote energy efficiency in Ulaanbaatar. Additionally, MEG will provide training to institutions governing the energy sector on standards to ensure energy services are improved for the people.

This objective aims to improve the capacity of domestic organizations to plan for future heating and generation requirements using advanced tools, models, and assessments for both short and long-term planning. The activity support Mongolia's energy sector by enhancing its efficiency and sustainability through data-driven planning and policymaking.
