Under the Mongolia Energy Governance Activity, USAID will help strengthen the use of data analysis in planning and assessing operational performance. Abt Associates, recently formalized a collaboration w/ the Mongolian University of Science & Technology, in which teaching staff will be trained on mid- to long-term policy planning and the applicability of advanced technology for the electricity & heating sectors. The collaboration includes Arizona State University’s Laboratory for Energy and Power Solutions (LEAPS), a leader in energy sector research.
