Asia Clean Energy Forum 2024

Abt Global is proud to sponsor and attend the 19th Asia Clean Energy Forum (ACEF), one of the longest-running and most impactful clean energy meetings in Asia and the Pacific.

Energy efficiency is a major pillar of building a climate resilience energy system. Confronted with winter peak load shortfalls and the challenge of accommodating rising energy demand in the coming years solely through capacity expansion, Mongolian government energy institutions turned to energy efficiency and conservation strategies. Given this situation, Abt supported Mongolian government stakeholders in successfully implementing a sector-wide campaign to promote energy efficiency and conservation for the public through its USAID-funded Mongolia Energy Governance (MEG) activity. MEG's Objective Lead, Dr. Bavuudorj Ovgor introduced valuable insights and lessons learned from this campaign and attending technical sessions at the Asia Clean Energy Forum 2024.
